A Better And Longer Lasting Trailer

Strong, Light & Affordable

In the trailer industry, there are typically two classes of trailer, Steel or Aluminum, ranging from economy price points to higher-end deluxe models.

At Logan Coach, we pride ourselves in offering the best of both worlds - with the benefits of an aluminum trailer and the strength of a galvanized frame - all at an extremely attractive price.

Benefits of Galvanized

Galvanized metal goes through an additional process and is often used because of its attributes of strength, safety and longevity.

When metal is galvanized, it increases in strength by up to 18-22%. And, when it's welded into a frame, it increases in strength by 50%.

Another advantage of galvanized is increased 'tensile' strength, which is the ability for a metal to flex and bend without breaking or cracking. This means, with Logan Coach, you experience more safety and increased peace of mind.

Lightweight Aluminum Skin

Thanks to our hybrid design, Logan Coach trailers weigh up to 15% less than comparable, all-steel trailers and are often comparable in weight, and sometimes weigh less, than higher-priced, all-aluminum trailers.

When speaking in terms of weight, trailers that are too light don't have enough structure and simply won't last, while trailers that are too heavy are costly to operate and tow-Logan Coach trailers offer the perfect balance of strength and efficiency, making them durable, while keeping them affordable for years to come.

Vortex Spray-On Rubber Coating

At Logan Coach, we coat our galvanized-metal sub-frames with Vortex, an impressive, rubber, spray-on product that's similar to bed liners seen in the automotive industry. Here are just a few of its numerous advantages:

Stronger

Vortex has superior strength, is extremely durable and stands up to the most demanding conditions, including extreme weather, animal abuse and rough handling.

Cleaner

Vortex is so easy to keep clean. Simply power wash, let dry and it looks good as new, no more time and effort wasted on difficult nooks and crevasses.

Healthier

Vortex completely seals the area to which it's applied, eliminating the possibility of moisture, bacteria and debris becoming trapped behind our trailer walls and mats.

Safer

Many bed liners have a coarser, finish that chaffs and harms expensive cargo. Vortex comes in a variety of finishes, including a softer, smoother finish that's comfortable to the touch.

More Value

If you've looked today's spray-on truck-bed liners, you know that they're not inexpensive. At Logan Coach, we use Vortex on all our trailers, giving you more value to your purchase.

Whiz-Proof Floors

At Logan Coach trailers we are always looking for better ways to build an improved trailer. In our research we found that many of today's customers that are shopping for a aluminum trailer prefer an aluminum floor. Aluminum floors are a great option and offer many benefits including less weight. One of the downsides of aluminum floors is that they will corrode and deteriorate when barn yard acids sit on the floor and aren't washed off in a timely manner.(picture of 4-star floor) With this challenge in mind Logan Coach designed the ultimate aluminum floor; the whiz proof self-draining floor system.

The whiz proof floor is the only aluminum floor on the market that is designed to be self draining. Allowing acidic moisture to drain off the floor increases the strength and longevity of any floor and also will help control undesirable barn yard odors and add to your livestock's over all comfort.. To add one more layer of protection to the Whiz-proof floors Logan Coach sprays the Vortex rubber spray liner to the aluminum plank which increases the strength and longevity of the floor. Logan Coach Whiz proof floor system is truly the most advanced floor on the market today.

Floating-Roof System

The Logan Coach Floating-Roof System is a uniquely innovative design that adds overall strength and value to our products.

There's a saying in our industry, "a trailer is like a shoebox and the roof is like the lid, without the lid, the trailer loses much of its overall strength." The Logan Coach Floating-Roof System is a testament to this saying.

Here's how we do it:

Custom-Fitted Components

Logan Coach starts by custom fitting each roof to each trailer so that it fits like a glove, giving each trailer the maximum strength and fit possible.

We have specifically designed and extruded "roof coves" manufactured to fit our wall frames, which are much thicker and stronger than over-the-counter coves use by many of our competitors.

Strong Uni-Body Designs

Once the Roof cove is fitted to each trailer, Logan Coach welds 1 ½" x 1 ½" aluminum roof bows every 18" the roof cove. Our roof bows have a slight radius, offering added strength and also the ability to whisk off moisture. This Uni-Body Design adds a great deal strength to the overall trailer.

Floating Roof Joints

Once the roof bows are in place, each bow is lined with a state-of-the-art 3M product, called VHB tape. When applied properly VHB tape offers 25% more strength than welding and allows the exterior skin of the roof to work, or float, with the metals as they expand and contract, instead of working against itself and lifting and breaking loose.

We have found that using VHB tape for attaching roofs, versus mechanical fasteners (welds, screws, rivets, etc.) are stronger and have much fewer problems with leaks throughout their lives.

One-Piece Aluminum Sheets

Once the tape is properly applied to the roof bows, Logan Coach applies a one-piece, aluminum roof sheet, eliminating the chance of moisture leaking through to your expensive cargo.

The aluminum sheet is custom-sized and fitted to each trailer and is typically 10% thicker than many of our competitors-giving more strength and safety to Logan Coach trailers.

Clean Lines, Strong Edges

So now that the roof is on and the one-piece roof skin is attached, what do you do with the perimeter edges? We have designed an angled aluminum piece, which traps the edge of the roof skin and then is welded to the edges of the roof cove-giving the trailer a clean, strong and maintenance free finish.
